It's always weird trying to start these things.... just a simple "hi" or "how are you", maybe "how's the weather?" I'm sure I've used all of those before.

Things have been so awesome here. I'll give you a short run-down of the past few weeks....

Feb 11-12 we had a medical mission team from a church in Seattle, Washington commit to giving two days of their time in the Philippines to helping the people of Tanza. There were several doctors, dentists, nurses, and volunteers that showed up. The first morning there were people lined up at 6am ready to be seen. The doctors ended up helping about 500 people in two days!!!! It was so awesome to have them there. It also helped make our relationship with the community stronger, as well as giving them more of an awareness of the church that we work with there. In those two days the gospel was shared, teeth were pulled, surgeries were done, meds were given, lives were touched, seeds were plated, and all in the name of Christ. It was awesome.

The biggest evidence of Gods goodness was in the life of a little girl named Jerilyn. Her mom, Rosie, brought her in weighing a whole 4 lbs. And she was 3 months old at the time. We rushed her to the front of the line and got her immediate help. With help from your support, we were able to put her in a hospital that specializes in the rehabilitation of severely malnourished children. She's been in there a little over two weeks and has already had huge improvements. God is so good. During this time in the hospital, Rosie has accepted Jesus as her Savior! Praise God!!! Our womens pregnancy program is in full swing. We have 19 women this session who are as big (pregnant) and beautiful as the last bunch. Our relationships are growing stronger with each week and I love getting to be a part of their pregnancy...and even help name the babies every once in a while :-)

The feeding program is still rolling. It's cool how God is allowing us to meet their physical needs as well as spiritual.

Another awesome thing thats happened since Christmas is there has been a youth group started at the church. It wasn't something us missionaries initiated, but my friend Chelle and I have been going most Saturdays. It's so much fun. In a couple weeks we are having a Pinoy Idol....like American Idol....competition. And I get to be one of the judges! It's going to be a lot of fun.

Personally I'm doing a lot better health wise. Praise God. I got on some new meds and now the past few days I've been feeling some relief. I still get run down often but definitely improving :-)

This time of year the million dollar question is "what are your plans for next year?". And it's always a doozey for me. I feel like God is getting close to revealing His will for me, but would really appreciate your prayers for clarity, wisdom, and understanding. Thanks!

This part is hard for me to write. It's also hard for me to admit. I'm struggling a little in the financial support region. With helping pay medical bills for Jerilyn, other ministry expenses, and the decreasing financial dollar worth, my support is low. I am in need of around $3,000 more for my time here. If you are at all possibly to help, I would be so grateful. You can send support to:

I cant thank you enough for your support, prayers, and encouragement for me. You are a significant reason God is able to use me the way He is. I'm so thankful for you.
